Low cost water cooler

I have designed a low cost water cooler.  This is useful in summer.  The electricity consumption is very low. Easy to make any body with little knowledge can assemble this.  cheap useful.  Try yourself.

You need

1.Air cooler submersible pump ( this will cost around Rs.150 to Rs.200)

2.One steel basin + small Steel plate ( size depending your requirement)

3.Steel water drum( size depending your requirement)

4.cloth ( better to use smooth cotton cloth)

5.Stand

Now fix the steel basin on a stand and put water drum on it.  Fill drinking water in the water drum and fix one steel plate on the top.  cover the drum with cloth so as to put one edge on the steel plate and the other on the drum.  fill basin with water and put submersible pump into the water. keep the water tube on the plate fixed on the top of the steel drum.  connect the pump to Electricity socket and switch on the current.  The pump lifts the water to the steel plate and the entire cloth covered the steel drum will become wet.  keep the pump running.  The water from steel plate will flow through the clot into the basin and again the same will be pumped.  within short time the water in the steel drum will become cold.  open the tap and get chilled water.

You may keep the pump on for many hours.  the electricity consumption is very less.  may be 10w to 15w which is just like your night bulb power consumption.  You will get this devise within Rs.500 to Rs.600 investment.
