Low cost water cooler
I have designed a low cost water cooler. This is useful in summer. The electricity consumption is very low. Easy to make any body with little knowledge can assemble this. cheap useful. Try yourself.
You need
1.Air cooler submersible pump ( this will cost around Rs.150 to Rs.200)
2.One steel basin + small Steel plate ( size depending your requirement)
3.Steel water drum( size depending your requirement)
4.cloth ( better to use smooth cotton cloth)
5.Stand
Now fix the steel basin on a stand and put water drum on it. Fill drinking water in the water drum and fix one steel plate on the top. cover the drum with cloth so as to put one edge on the steel plate and the other on the drum. fill basin with water and put submersible pump into the water. keep the water tube on the plate fixed on the top of the steel drum. connect the pump to Electricity socket and switch on the current. The pump lifts the water to the steel plate and the entire cloth covered the steel drum will become wet. keep the pump running. The water from steel plate will flow through the clot into the basin and again the same will be pumped. within short time the water in the steel drum will become cold. open the tap and get chilled water.
You may keep the pump on for many hours. the electricity consumption is very less. may be 10w to 15w which is just like your night bulb power consumption. You will get this devise within Rs.500 to Rs.600 investment.
Your suggestions are invited.

Electric Dish cleaner
I am having a plan to build a Dish cleaner to clean domestic utensils:
The components:
1. A motor like a ceiling fan motor
2. mesh attached to motor
3. mesh attachments
Take a motor and fix it to a clamp so as to fix in your kitchen sink the motor will be accessed with shiftable mesh attachment( we can reduce the length of the attachment by pulling and pushing)
this attachment will be fixed with mesh.
operation:
a) put on the motor while the motor with mesh is running cleaning soap will be added with water to the mesh.
b) take your Dish to the mesh while it is moving. Soap attached to the mesh will clean your utensil move the utensil to all sides so as to clean. Within no time your utensil will be cleaned.
c) wash the Dish under tap water. Get cleaned utensil.
This is my plan. Any body who are interested may suggest me. I am trying to make a prototype. It is under preparation.
any body interested in this article plz write to me. If you do better tell me too.

How to drive a CAR
Maruthi 800 Car |
Today I am happened to visit a Driving School along with my friend who is learning driving. I sat on the rear seat of the maruthi 800 car. Which is used to teach driving. I was there about half an hour. I could not satisfy with the teaching and assistance of the teacher who is teach to my friend. I asked my friend is the same daily. He told yes. I thought that many of our friends are not having proper guidance in driving and lack of technical knowledge about car driving. Which prompted me to write this article.
DRIVING A VEHICLE:
First one must know about a geared vehicle.
A geared vehicle is one. which runs by a motor and the transmission is with gears. Transmission means giving power ( motion ) from engine to load ( wheels of vehicle ) it is through gears. First when the vehicle starts from inertial state to motion state it requires more power to rotate the wheels. As such the vehicle should placed in load gear i.e., first gear. In first gear the speed of the engine will be more and the speed of the vehicle will be less. Hence the vehicle moves with great power. when the vehicle moves on the road the vehicle will move to speed with less power, then we have to shift to second gear. later third and so on as per the availability of gears of the vehicle. We must understand that first and second gears are known as load gears and third and fourth gears are known as speed gears. As the speed of the vehicle increased we should change the gears one two three so on. when the vehicle is forced to drop speed means when you controls the speed by applying break then as per the speed we have to change the gear to second or first and again raise to up words.

The person who know motor cycle driving can easily drive a car:
The driving of a motor cycle with gear is a similar to that of a car. The deferences are in the case of a motor cycle:
1) One must maintain balance.
2) One should find way to motor cycle to the extent of clearance of a little more than a pediatrician.
3. One should know the clutch releasing Technic and accelerating and apply of break after the application of break keep the leg on the floor etc.,
In the case of a Car:
No.2 of the above point is important. One should see the clearance of road more than the width of car. The Driver of a car sits at right side of car. So right side cab be seen to the edge. But to the left of the car. Driver must be careful, because he should have imaginary view of left. It will develop after regular driving.
No3 of the above is less or more equal to that of a motor cycle. But if you are not having knowledge of two wheeler you have to develop gradually.
Release of clutch and application of accelerator should practice more carefully. One should know the relationship of a clutch and accelerator. Than only can drive perfectly.
Language of a car: Always car speaks to you. You must understand its language. When you are driving a car. The engine sound should be gradual increased. But it should not be ups and downs. If you raise the engine without providing proper load it will cry. A smooth driving of a car can clearly say by observing the engine sound. This is the clue to learners. If you are able to hear the car and understand you will be a good driver.
Do's : Always use clutch to change gear.
Use clutch when you apply break.
Release of clutch and application of accelerator are inversely proportionate.
Do not's
Do not change the gear without applying clutch.
Do not apply break without clutch.
Do not move the car without releasing hand break.
How to start car from stationary to motion.
1.release the hand break.
2. check the neutral position of gear rod.
3. start the car by moving ignition key.
4. Completely press the clutch liver.
5. move the gear rod to 1st gear.
6.gently release the clutch by moving your left leg upwards and at the same time press the accelerator gently so as to move the car slowly towards forward direction.
7. See the road clearance before turning the steering.
8. After reaching a little speed press the clutch liver and change the gear to 2nd gear position and release the clutch again and maintain the accelerator. like the same way apply other speed gears.
9. Whenever you slow downs the car by applying break in traffic immediately depending on the speed change to a lower gear. If the car stops start from first gear again.
Have insurance and the paper to prove it.
Make sure somewhere in your checklist when you exit the vehicle that you turn off the lights.
Have your license with you.
Avoid parking illegally, your car may be towed, or you may be cited and have to pay a fine.Be courteous to the others on the road.
Don't run red lights.
Be safe and follow all the posted and implied laws while driving.
Make sure you practice uphill starts when learning to operate a manual transmission. Because starting a manual transmission from a stop requires letting off the brakes and engaging the clutch (essentially placing the car in neutral), the car will roll backwards until first gear is engaged. To stop this from happening, apply the hand/parking brake, then release it as you release the clutch and the car begins to move forward. Otherwise, you risk rolling into the car behind you. Practice this technique on a sloped driveway or parking lot where it's safe to make mistakes.
Never shift into low gears at high speeds (i.e. 1st gear at 50mph). This will greatly damage or destroy your cars engine and transmission.
This is by no means a replacement to going to drivers ed.!
Always wear a seatbelt!
Always use your turn signal, and use low beam headlights when there is an approaching vehicle or when there is a vehicle in front of your vehicle.
Make sure you're in the CORRECT lane while driving.
DO NOT drink and drive. You could kill yourself or someone else.
Avoid the temptation to use your mobile phone, a few seconds distraction can cause a serious accident, so the best way to do it is turning off your cellphone until you get to your destination.
Maintenance:
Fuel Tank: To any vehicle maintenance is one of the impotent thing one should notice. In two wheelers the oil cock will have tow out puts viz. open and reserve. But in car no such facility is there. The petrol from the tank will have direct connection to the engine. One meter will be there indicating the level of the Fuel tank. Before going to any trip first check the fuel level.
Air pressure in Tyres: On par with fuel tyre pressure is also checked frequently.
Periodical checks: Engine oil, break oil, collent in radiator, etc., should be got checked by a known mechanic.
Dear friends if you find this article as useful to you plz comment. if you suggest any modifications also send by way of comments. your comments are welcomed.
I saw one article am copying the same and pasting hereunder.

How To Drive a Car
If you are new to the world of driving or just want to refresh your memory, then this guide may just be what you are looking for. This article will address the different aspects of driving, give instructions on basic driving procedures, and tell you what not to do while driving on the road. Have fun, know what you are doing, and most importantly, be safe.
Steering in the Right Direction
Steering can easily be the most fundamental part of the driving experience. The entire foundation of driving rests with the process of steering as this tells your car the exact direction in which you want to proceed. Steering is not really that hard and all you have to do is shift the steering wheel in the direction you choose to go in. If you want to reverse your car, you will need to turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction. Think of your car as a bike. The back wheels rotate in one straight line no matter what and that leaves you to adjust the direction of the front wheels to wherever you want to go. If it is raining and the ground is wet, be sure not to make any sharp turns or apply brakes sharply. Refrain from trying to look cool by just using one hand on the wheel. Always use both hands to have complete control of your vehicle. Remember, you will not look cool if you crash your car.
Shifting Gears
The shifting mechanisms of a car depend on what type of car you have. In new age cars, the shifting between gears is taken care of by automatic transmission. In sports cars you must use a standard lever, also known as stick shift, to adjust the gears but you do not need to hold down the clutch. In older cars, as well as tractors and other industrial vehicles, you have to use a standard shifter and you also have to use the clutch whenever you start the car or change gears. To use the clutch, simply press it down with your foot, shift into the gear that you want and then, slowly release your foot off of the clutch. If you take your foot off too fast, the car will stall out and kill the engine, forcing you to crank it back up and try again. If you are new to driving and you have an older car then just practise with it. You will get the hang of it eventually and soon it will not even bother you to deal with the clutch. Although it might take you some time to learn how to do this, once you get the hang of it, you will never forget how to do it.
Parking Your Car
Parking your car is easier than it looks.
To park forward: If you are parking forward, then first, drive your car next to the spot that you want to park in. Check to make sure that the coast is clear and then pull in slowly in order to make sure you do not hit any other cars or drive too fast.
To park backwards: If you are parking backwards, drive up to the spot you want to pull into and stop just after it so that the back of the car is facing the spot. Use your rear view mirror and side mirrors to make sure that the coast is clear and to help you navigate into the spot. Parking backwards is slightly more difficult than parking forwards but you will get the hang of it. The side mirrors line up with the back of your car and so, make sure that the back of it is lined up with any cars nearby in a way that you do not hit the other car. Pull in slowly and use your brake as soon as you are in, far enough.
Parallel parking: Parallel parking is even harder than parking backwards but this too can be quickly perfected. In order to parallel park between two cars, pull up next to the cars just far enough so that the back of your car is parallel to the side of the opening closest to you. Shift your gear into Reverse gear and steer the car in the opposite direction in which the cars are parked. Slowly back into the opening, using your rear and side view mirrors, and stop as soon as your car is halfway into the opening. Shift your gear so that you are now in the Drive mode and steer your car back to the direction of the parked cars. Pull slightly forward so that the front of the car is now in the empty space as well. Keep switching back and forth from Reverse to Drive and repeat these steps until your car is fully in the empty space. Brake and turn off your ignition. You have done it! You have now mastered all three fundamental parking procedures.
Responsible, Sensible and Safe Driving
While driving a car or any vehicle for that matter, one must remember that you need to exercise caution. Driving is an art that needs to be developed with a sense of responsibility. The following aspects need to be avoided at any cost while driving in order to ensure your safety and that of your fellow drivers on the road. Better safe than sorry and so, drivers must strive to fight road rage, be careful while street racing and most definitely avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Road Rage
Road Rage
Road rage is something that can potentially affect all of us. Aggression can change our perception and can make it harder to react to certain circumstances. Whether it is other drivers that are making you mad or you just got into a big argument with someone, take a breather and do not let those other people affect your driving or your actions in general. You are your own person and you need to take control of your life. When you are mad, you are not in your right mind and you tend do some pretty crazy things that you would not do if you were thinking clearly. It does not matter whether you are new to driving or have been doing it for decades, everyone can be affected the same way. So next time you climb behind the wheel, make sure that you are in a controlled state of mind and are ready to embark on the journey of driving.
Street Racing
Street Racing
Another aspect that is similar to road rage is street racing. It can be very exhilarating and can provide you with a rush of adrenaline but street racing is very dangerous not only to yourself but also to other people on the road. If someone pulls up next to you and wants to race, just ignore them and go about your own business. These people are reckless and challenging them to a duel is extremely rash and dangerous. If you are someone who likes to race, go to one of the many racing facilities where there are proper tracks and emergency personnel on site. If there is no such facility nearby, go out to a place where there are no other cars in the vicinity. Always make sure that there is an emergency personnel supervising the race. Do not yield to pressure of any kind. It is not worth playing with your life.
Alcohol And Drugs
Alcohol And Drugs
Never get behind the wheel if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You could potentially harm not only yourself but also others on the road. Alcohol and drugs make it harder for you to concentrate on what you are doing and can change your perception of what is going on. Likewise, do not drive if you are exhausted or sleepy. If you find yourself falling asleep at the wheel, pull into the nearest parking lot or even on the side of the road, and take a little nap. Studies show that just fifteen minutes of rest will make you more alert than if you just drive straight through. You have to be careful on the road and take responsibility for yourself. If you pose a threat to yourself or others then it is your duty to do everything you can to take that threat out of the equation.
Some Useful Tips on Driving a Car
Be in no doubt about your basics. Memorize all the traffic rules, regulations, signs and symbols.
- Be aware of one-way roads and lanes. Going in the wrong direction could cause immense damage to yourself and others.
- Fasten your seat belts before you switch on the ignition of your car. Never forget to do this as this could prove to be a life saving factor in the face of an accident.
- Ensure that you are alert and that your focus is entirely on driving. Avoid talking or getting distracted while on the road.
- Always use both your hands and no matter how confident you become, never try to steer the wheel with only one hand.
- Use both the rear and side view mirrors to be aware of pedestrians and traffic on the road.
- Last but not the least, have patience and bear in mind that constant practice will surely lead to eventual perfection.
